Webberville, TX, April 15th, 2025-

What once stood as a peaceful protest and celebration of cannabis reform is now rising again, infused with new energy, new purpose, and new technology. This isn’t your average “hemp fest.” Texas HempstaLK 2025 is an immersive experience where activism meets artistry, where policy intertwines with play, and where Web3 technology collides with ancient ritual. It’s a living blueprint for the future of conscious gatherings.

At the helm is Texas-based activist, musician, and visionary Justin James Bridges, a longtime advocate for hemp justice and regenerative living. Alongside him stands Paul Stanford, the founder of the original Hempstalk, whose decades of leadership in the hemp reform movement will anchor the weekend’s message with wisdom and urgency. Returning as the event’s keynote speaker, Stanford’s presence adds gravitas to a gathering already brimming with passion and purpose. “It’s time to ignite the next era of hemp liberation,” he declares. And Texas, it seems, is ready for the spark.

The two-day event opens with a powerful Lakota Drum Ceremony led by respected community elders, grounding the weekend in reverence and intention. From there, the energy only builds. Three stages across the ranch will pulse with live music, performance art, and spoken word, creating a sonic landscape that spans generations and genres. Global legends like P-Funk All-Star Muruga Booker and Muruga Cosmic Boogie, Afrobeat master Sikiru Adepoju, and gospel-funk royalty David Winans Pi will share space with rising Texas acts like MadDabber710, Yung Bill Rap Sumo of Swisha House, and Loose Screws & Rusty Hearts—winners of the San Marcos Music Awards for Best New Artist and Best Country. Every note, every beat, every rhyme contributes to a larger story—one of resistance, renewal, and rhythm.

But HempstaLK is more than a concert. It’s a canvas of ideas and innovations. On-site, artist Harry Hemp and his team will sculpt the monumental Hemp-Lime Throne, an interactive installation that not only invites selfies but symbolizes strength through sustainability. Hemp pioneer Joe Hickey Sr. will lead a ceremonial planting to “sow the seeds of the future,” a literal and metaphorical act of regeneration. Fashion visionary Milan Ludovico will debut The Hempwalk, a striking eco-fashion showcase that celebrates the versatility and elegance of hemp textiles.

Every inch of the ranch has been curated with community and intention in mind. A dedicated Veterans’ Green Zone will offer safe, plant-based healing spaces for military veterans and their families. A protected Kids Camp will keep young minds engaged and inspired. And when the sun sets, the After Midnight Experience will take over, shifting the mood with late-night activations, cosmic soundscapes, and celestial connection.

As if that weren’t enough, the future of tech will also be on full display. Through the Web3Hemp Zone, visitors will experience augmented reality scavenger hunts, NFT-driven learning hubs, immersive XR zones, and blockchain-powered participation rewards—all designed to bridge the physical and digital realms of activism and education. Here, nature and innovation don’t compete—they collaborate.

But beyond the music, beyond the art, and beyond the cutting-edge tech lies a deeper purpose. As hemp and cannabinoid legislation continues to face political threats, Texas HempstaLK serves as both a celebration and a call to action. “This isn’t just a music festival—it’s a movement,” says co-organizer Michael Kamp. “We’re gathering the tribes. Artists, activists, veterans, farmers, educators—this is our line in the soil.”

That line is bold. It’s musical. It’s medicinal. And it’s deeply rooted in a vision for a more conscious, connected, and regenerative world.

With nonprofit partners like SMTXCRA 104.1 KZSM-LP San Marcos True Community Radio and Drums For Youth, and a global livestream powered by Citizen Green TV—reaching over 200 million viewers—Texas HempstaLK 2025 is poised to make history. Whether you're a farmer, a freedom fighter, or just curious about the culture, this is a weekend that promises to educate, inspire, and electrify.

So bring your dancing shoes. Bring your open mind. And bring your commitment to something bigger. Because this May, on the banks of the Colorado River, the seeds of change are being planted—and everyone is invited to grow.
