The Orioles are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team from Baltimore, Maryland. They are a member of the American League (AL) and are part of the AL East division. The Orioles was founded as the original Milwaukee Brewers in 1901, and is one of the original eight founding American League teams. The Orioles moved to St. Louis, Missouri the following year to become the St. Louis Browns. They played there for over 50 years before moving to Baltimore in 1954 and adopted the Orioles team name used by the predecessors of their host city.

The Orioles have won nine division titles, six American League Pennants and three World Series titles. Notable Orioles Hall of Famers include Brooks Robinson, Eddie Murray, Earl Weaver, Jim Palmer, Frank Robinson, and Cal Ripken, Jr.

The current manager of the Orioles is Brandon Hyde. Some of the most notable players on the team include Cedric Mullins, Trey Mancini, Ryan Mountcastle, and John Means.
